FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL 2010

Kaydans First Day Of School

Kelton is sad that he is not old enough to go to school yet. He walks with Carey every day to and from school to drop off and pick up Kaydan. He thinks it is his "Job to pick up brother from school". We can only hope that he still wants to go when he is old enough.

Kaydans teacher this year is Mrs. Comte. Kaydan came home from School the first day telling us that everything was AMAZING.

Have you ever WONDERED?

Have you ever wondered what would happen if your 3 year old "FORGOT" to turn off the water in your bathroom.
Let me tell you, about 20 minutes later your 6 year old comes up from the basement play room to tell you that there is watter dripping out of the "TOP".

Not the best photo, I should have taken a one of the 5 buckets in the basement trying to catch the water dripping everywhere. Now every time Kelton comes out of the bathroom I ask him if he turned off the water.

SUMMER TIME-June

June
Carey was lucky enough to have Wednesdays off this summer and we loved it! The first Wednesday of the summer we decided that we would take the kids to Discovery Park in Pleasant Grove for a picnic.

This is out of order but Payson Market had a Kids Safety Fair Kaydan thought it was great. I do not know if it was because he got to go do something with his dad alone or if he is really going to be a fire man/paramedic when he grows up. Kelton was home sick, sick, sick.

The first week of June Kelton got his tonsils out. Can you say FUN! I do not care what they try to tell you about it being easier when they are younger you can not convince me. Kelton was one sick boy. The medicine they gave him had the opposite affect on him they did not make him sleepy it made him so hyper he could not hold still. I would think he was feeling better and would try to stretch out the time in between the meds, he would end up on the floor kicking his feet in pain. It was a bad 10 days.

Kelton on his way to the hospital had no clue what was gong to happen to him. We were scheduled to be at the hospital at 7:00 we got a call at 5:45 asking us to get there as soon as we could so out the door we went just to wait at the hospital 4 and a half hours with a 3 year old who was not impressed with us.

On the way home, we had to stay at the hospital for "it seemed like forever" because Kelton kept throwing up. He kept it up all the way home too, Poor little man

Never leave home without a bucket, aside from your emergency kit, a bucket is very handy to have for trips

ART CITY DAYS

We love Art City Days, we love the parade, the rides, the food, and the fire works. Kelton was not feeling good this year and his mood matched the weather.

( maybe a week after Kelton had his tonsils out) he rode the Merry-go-round by himself, one of the few times he smiled from ear to ear

Where's Mary Poppins?

The race has begun

At the end of June we got a call that Grandma Taylor has passed away in her sleep. As part of her service a grandchild from each family talked about memories that they had of Grandma, she was an amazing woman who loved her family and community.
