Once Upon a Spring Saturday

Once upon a beautiful Saturday there was a fun Primary Easter Activity

Full of cup cake making

and Easter Egg Hunting

We came home from the activity did our chores and then off to play with Dave, Chris and their family.

We went bowling, Oh! do Carey and I need to practice, The kids got a higher score that we did.

We went out to dinner and then came home and played in the back yard (dirt pile)

We love nice warm spring days that keep us busy!

ViVa LaS VeGaS

We went to Vegas to CELEBRATE with Sarah and Cody who got maried.



First off if you know me you know that I pack for a trip ahead of time just to make sure that I do not forget some thing we may need. I had washed and pressed all of our dress clothes and hung them in the closet with our jackets. You can guess where this is going, YES I forgot all of our dress clothes, I remembered in Cedar City and went shoping in St. George.

Two and a half hours later we were on our way again.

We made it to Vegas and meat up with my family at the hotel. John and our family got on the shuttle and headed for the strip, we got off and John acted like he knew what way to go, Carey and I not knowing anything went along with him. We were trying to get to the MGM Grand to eat at the Rain Forest Cafe. We walked all the way to Circus Circus YUP that would be all the way to the end of the strip in the wrong direction with a stroller and two hungry boys. We made it to the MGM at 8:45 pm (Kelton goes to bed at 7:00).

I was determed to eat there for Keltons 2nd birthday.

The next morning we got up and went to breakfast and then down to the swiming pool. Friday it was 85 degreas and Saturday it was cool and windy of corse. Carey and I got in the water and thought we were going to freeze but the kids enjoyed puting there toes in the water, Kaydan even walked down the stars and got his swim suit wet and then got out and shook his bum like a dog. We went back to the room and got ready for the weadding. We were smart this time and took the Deuce bus. Sarah looked beautiful and her and Cody were HAPPY.

That is a good thing!

Sunday we went to the Ethel M Chocolate Factory, and cactus garden. The garden was beautiful and the kids enjoyed playing and run around. We headed home after that. The weather was beautiful untill we got to about Beaver and then it was a mix of wind, rain, sleat, and alot of SNOW, OH YA and Carey asked if I would mind driving after we stoped for dinner in St. george. HAHA I think he knew there was a stom ahead of us.

KELTONS BIG BOY HAIR CUT

AFTER EVERYONE TELLING ME IT WAS TIME TO CUT KELTONS HAIR AND ME NOT WANTING TO, JOHN COME OVER AND CUT HIS HAIR TODAY. HE DOES NOT LOOK LIKE MY BABY BOY HE'S A BIG BOY NOW.

KELTON LOVES ADRIENNE

I KNOW THAT THAT I HAVE POSTED ALOT ABOUT KELTON BUT OH WELL. KELTON CAN NOT GO TO BED UNLESS ADRIENNE HAD ROCKED AND READ WITH HIM. HE WILL DO ANYTHING FOR HER I THINK IT IS SO SWEET. ADRIENNE IS A GRET LITTLE GIRL WE ARE LUCKY TO HAVE HER AROUND TO LOVE AND PLAY WITH.

I AM QUITE PROUD OF HIS CAKE. I PRINTED A SIMPLE OUT LINE OFF THE INTERNED AND WENT FROM THERE. NOT BAD IF I SAY SO MY SELF.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE MAN WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND ARE SO HAPPY YOU ARE IN OUR FAMILY, WE CAN NOT IMAGINE LIFE WITH OUT YOU.

KELTON GETS A NEW BED

KETLTON WAS NOT HAPPY GOING TO BED IN HIS CRIB, HE WOULD GET A RUNING START IN ONE CORNER AND FLIP HIM SELF OVER THE SIDE. I THOUGHT HE HAD BROKEN HIS ARM ONE NIGHT WHEN HE FLEW OUT OF HIS BED, SO WE NEEDED TO GET A BIG BOY BED FOR HIM.
